We at CPG Hotels are staying close to the developments of the COVID-19 situation and are adjusting our operational procedures as appropriate. Please know that we are intently monitoring the Covid-19 situation around the clock and have strict procedures in place to ensure a healthy stay at any of our hotels across New Zealand.
In these uncertain times, we know travel may not be your first thought and we thank you in advance for placing your trust in CPG as you plan any future travel.
The health and well-being of our staff and guests our first priority, and as such, these are the steps we have in place throughout our business;
AT TIME OF BOOKING:
Rest assured we are doing everything we can to have accommodation ready for you when do you choose to travel.
We are closely monitoring the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines and local health agencies and New Zealand Government for the latest developments related to Covid-19.
We will continue to follow the guidance of government and public health officials and we are sticking to these agencies’ recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures within our own hotel management teams.
BEFORE YOUR STAY:
Given the impact of Covid-19 on how we work, travel and spend our leisure time, we have adapted our cancellation policy to provide our guests with as much flexibility we can.

DURING YOUR STAY:
Because the Covid-19 virus has meant we all need to be more attentive as we go through our daily activities, daily we are working to make sure each of our properties meets the latest guidelines from the WHO when it comes to hygiene and cleaning.
Our hotels’ health and safety policies and procedures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses including Covid-19 and cover everything from handwashing and cleaning product specifications, to cleaning of guestrooms and public areas.
Across all CPG properties, our housekeeping teams are cleaning all high touch areas much more regularly, and are ensuring that during our cleaning, they are disinfecting all surfaces to ensure we are adhering to strict cleaning and hygiene practices.
- Hand sanitisers are available at all counters, for staff and customers to assist with good hygiene measures.
- All hotel staff have access to hospital grade disinfectant to regularly wipe down their high touch areas multiple times per day.
- To help prevent exposure, all CPG employees have all the information they need to stay healthy within the work environment. If they are feeling unwell, we request they remain at home. This is updated regularly and is in line with the Ministry of Health guidelines.
- Our Senior Management are continually reviewing the situation as it evolves to ensure we are complying with all advice from the Ministry of Health. We will update our staff and customers when necessary.
We know that these are uncertain times and regardless of when you next travel, we want to reiterate your safety and wellbeing are our first priority.
